Introduction to the China Ethnic Museum
The Chinese Ethnic Culture Park is a large-scale ethnic cultural site that integrates the traditional architecture, ethnic customs, song and dance performances, handicraft production, and ethnic cuisine of China's minority groups. It features architectural structures from all 56 ethnic groups in China, including residential buildings, religious structures, and landscape architecture, encompassing all typical forms of traditional Chinese architecture.
The Chinese Ethnic Culture Park is similar to a "miniature cultural park," comparable to the Netherlands' "Madurodam," Sweden's "Skansen Open-Air Museum," Spain's "Montjuïc Park," or Germany's "Europa-Park." However, the Chinese Ethnic Culture Park focuses on Eastern ethnic groups, emphasizing the academic and authentic representation of ethnic symbols and centering on scenes of ethnic life.
